Two arrested after pro-refugee protesters clash with police at St Pancras
Two people have been arrested after more than a hundred pro-refugee protesters stormed St Pancras station last night with smoke bombs and "missiles" thrown at police.
Protesters, many dressed in black hoodies with scarves covering their faces, pushed through police barriers near to where Eurostar trains arrive into London.
A Met Police spokesman said protesters tried to get onto Eurostar platforms at the station but were stopped by officers.
The demonstration was part of the No Border campaign which calls for an end to immigration controls.
Footage on Twitter shows rows of British Transport Police officers trying to hold back protesters while coloured smoke bombs go off around them.
No arrests have been reported.
