Blood pours from woman's mouth after violent bus attack
Police are investigating a violent row between two bus passengers which left a woman with a badly bleeding lip after being hit in the face.
The assault, filmed by another passenger and posted online, shows the woman victim with blood pouring from her mouth.
The woman is seen standing on the bus in south London arguing with a man sitting in one of the front seats.
She appears to be trying to push her shopping trolley past his legs.
She asks him: "Can you move your legs now? I said move your legs.''
He is heard to reply: "Are you stupid or something?"
The woman repeatedly tells him: "You have no manners."
When she adds: "You will end up in prison", he taunts her with hand gestures, saying: "Yeh, yeh, yeh, yeh."
After almost three minutes the argument turns to violence when the man appears to slap the woman's face with the back of his left hand while talking on his phone.
She responds by standing up and hitting him a number of times.
The two are then involved in another struggle as the man then tries to leave the bus, apparently trying to force open the doors.
The woman is heard saying:"Look at blood coming out of my mouth. You can't go anywhere, you can't go anywhere."
The driver can be heard talking on his radio or mobile phone saying: "I need an ambulance and police."
The attack is thought to have happened on a number 484 bus at Denmark Hill.
