Woman in critical condition after Muswell Hill crash

Police are appealing for information after a woman was left in life-threatening condition after a crash in north London.

The woman, who is believed to be in her 30s, was walking in Colney Hatch Lane, Muswell Hill at about 10pm last night.

She was then in collision with a car and had to be airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

No arrests have been made.

Local road closures were in place but have now been lifted.
