Downton Abbey stars Hugh Bonneville and Allen Leech kiss on the red carpet

Downton Abbey stars Allen Leech and Hugh Bonneville kissed on the red carpet tonight to celebrate being honoured by BAFTA.

Downton Abbey has been a worldwide hit and won plaudits and awards across the globe.

But until now the ITV show has never picked up a major prize at Britain's most prestigious awards. Tonight, the cast and crew are being honoured by the Academy with a special tribute at the Richmond Theatre.

While speaking to ITV London, two of the stars of the show Hugh Bonneville and Allen Leech began celebrating early with a kiss on the red carpet.
