High-powered supercars, some worth more than a million, cruise into London
Dozens of petrolheads have started arriving in London from the Middle East for their annual summer holiday.
Super-wealthy enthusiasts have their supercars shipped over to the capital every year, just after Ramadan.
They then park the cars, many of which are worth more than £1million, outside 5-star hotels, Harrods and other upmarket areas.
A white Pagani Zonda from Saudi Arabia, which has the registration plate '999', is one of the star cars so far.
It is a familiar face during 'The Season', and was regularly spotted during the same period last year. The £1 million-plus Pagani was accompanied by an outrageous-looking Mercedes 6x6, which was also on show last year.
Another car getting a lot of attention is a silver and black Porsche 918 Spyder - one of the most sought after hypercars on the planet.
Porsche is only making 918 of hybrids, and the German firm has already sold them all. Initially the car cost around £700,000 - but they are now being sold second hand for almost twice this figure.
Various Ferraris and Rolls-Royces, all from the Middle-East, have been spotted outside The Dorchester Hotel, and a numerous Lamborghinis have also been spotted.
Over the next few weeks dozens of custom cars will arrive in the capital for The Season. And the number of ostentatious motors will be matched by the number of petrolheads photographing and filming them.
Paul Wallace, who runs the YouTube page Supercars of London, is one of the enthuisiasts looking to catch a glimpse of the flash cars.
