Jimmy Mizen is remembered seven years on from his murder
The family of murdered teenager Jimmy Mizen have held a community event in his memory, seven years on from his death.
Jimmy was killed by 19-year-old Jake Fahri who threw a glass dish at him after a disagreement in a bakery in Lee Green. Fahri was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder.
Today hundreds of people gathered for the 'Sparkle' event held in Ladywell. The event included live music, a fun fair, food and craft stalls.
Sparkle is being held close to the Ten Thousand Hands Cafe which was set up by the Jimmy Mizen Foundation. It continues tomorrow.
The foundation shares Jimmy's story with young people allowing them to see the devastating effects that violence can have on families.
