The 35th London marathon takes place this Sunday and will see more than 36,000 charity fun runners taking part, as well as hundreds of professional athletes.

The 1996 and 2007 marathons saw the highest temperatures: 22.2C, while in 2004 runners faced a chilly 5.3C - and 2009's event was the sunniest on record.
