Staff at Windsor Castle vote for industrial action in dispute over pay
Staff at Windsor Castle have voted in favour of industrial action in dispute over pay.
Members of the Public and Commercial Services union voted by 84% in favour of action short of a strike, which could start from the end of April.
The union said the wardens carry out extra duties such as giving tours of the castle to fee-paying visitors, without pay.
The 76 wardens involved in the dispute are employed by the Royal Collection Trust, working at the entrance to the castle, around the grounds and inside the palace.
