Barking and Dagenham bucks the ageing population trend
No matter where you look, London's population is getting older - with the exception of one of the capital's boroughs. Barking and Dagenham is bucking a national trend and by 2037 the avergae age of people living there is set to fall.
Why? Well, the Office of National Statistics says it's down to immigration, the rising birth rate and the high number of young Londoners looking to get on the housing ladder. Here's a look at the average age borough-by-borough.
