Boris Johnson's political ambitions were given a boost when David Cameron name-checked him as a possible future Tory leader.
Mr Cameron ruled out a third term as Prime Minister if the Tories win the election in May.
The Prime Minister told the BBC he would serve a 'full second term' but would not put himself forward after 2020.
He suggested three senior Tories as possible replacements - London's mayor, Chancellor George Osborne and Home Secretary Theresa May.
