Bearded woman taunted for facial hair fights back against the bullies
A woman who endured years of bullying because of her facial hair has launched a campaign to encourage schoolchildren to be more tolerant and accept people as they are.
Harnaam Kaur, from Slough in Berkshire, says she contemplated suicide in her teens before finally accepting who she was.
She suffers from a condition called polycystic ovary, which affects the way the ovaries work.
Harnaam enlisted the help of Fixers - the campaign that gives young people a voice - to make a hard-hitting film that shows her daily struggles.
The film reflected the life she had for many years, a life of low confidence and low self esteem.
Harnaam hopes that if a bearded woman can live a normal life, then anyone can accept their body for the way it looks.
Harnaam hopes her film will make bullies think twice and realise the effect they have on other people.
