BRIT Award winner and three-time Grammy aware nominee will return to London next month for the climax of her current world tour. She's been playing around the world for 42 years, but this is the first time she's done a solo set.

She said: "'I will never retire but this will be the last major tour that I will undertake. For the first time these concerts will be me solo on stage playing the guitar and piano and singing.

"I want these concerts to be a special lively interactive one to one experience. I have absolutely enjoyed the last 42 years of performances but now, with my final major tour, I want to capture a unique memory for both myself and the audience."

She is currently mid way through the tour, which began in South Africa last year. With nearly every show to date a complete sellout, it sees her on the road until the end of 2015. It also encompasses the UK, Australia, North America, Germany, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, New Zealand and more concerts in South Africa,.

The set is almost two hours as Joan goes through her back catalogue from the last four decades.

Her career has seen many milestones, in the world of music and in her personal life. She has played for Nelson Mandela twice, received an Ivor Novello Award and is an MBE>

Such has been the success of the shows in the UK that Joan returns in March 2015 to play a raft of further venues. This leg climaxes at the Barbican on the 26th March.

She will be talking to Lucrezia Millarini on ITV News London at 6pm.
