Terrified shopkeeper threatened with ten-inch knife during paper shop robbery
A terrified shopkeeper was held up by a robber brandishing a ten-inch knife, who kept thrusting it towards his neck.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the shocking knifepoint robbery which left the 27-year-old needing treatment for a cut on his hand.
The horrific robbery at the paper shop in Balham, south west London, was captured on the store's CCTV, and shows the robber - who tried to conceal his identity by pulling up his hood - threatening the shopkeeper with his huge blade.
The robber shouted at the terrified victim and repeatedly thrust the knife towards his neck, before grabbing cash from the till and running away.
Officers were called to the store just before 2am on February 18. The suspect is described as:
Black man, aged in his early 20s and about 5ft 10ins tall
Wearing a dark blue Adidas hooded top, dark-coloured trousers and a grey scarf covering his face
Also wearing a black Nike rucksack with the wording 'Just do it' on it, and had a London accent
