Daniel Craig has injured his knee during filming for the new James Bond film. But an experienced replacement has volunteered to step in.

46 year-old Craig reportedly got injured while filming a fight scene for the movie Spectre at Pinewood Studios. But former Bond Sir Roger Moore, who last played 007 in A View to a Kill in 1985, was quick to volunteer as a stand-in:

Sir Roger does indeed know the risks of playing James Bond - he ended up with his trousers on fire when he was filming The Spy Who Loved Me.

However, the film's producers were quick to explain that Craig had recovered and will be back on set soon. The news brought the following response from Sir Roger:
