Two days after he thought he was finally going home, Myles Litchmore-Dunbar is still in limbo and behind bars in Greece.

The 20-year-old was found not guilty of murder on Monday after 15 months in jail for a crime he has always said he did not commit.

But Myle's DNA was not found on any of the weapons recovered from the scene and the court decided he was telling the truth when he said he was not there when the stabbing happened.

Litchmore-Dunbar was convicted of affray along with Dejon Anaghue. They were both give suspended sentences of 3 years probation. The other youth has already left the country but for Myle's the nightmare continues.

He has described the bureaucracy which is delaying his release as, "disgusting".

Last night he was transported in handcuffs from the court in Neapoli in Crete to Athens. The ferry crossing took 8 hours.

He has been moved six times since the not guilty verdict. And has just been taken from the Avlona Detention Centre to the Petroy Rall Holding Centre for Foreigners in Athens.

Officials there now have to assess his "status".

For Myles Litchmore-Dunbar proving his innocence has not resulted in winning his freedom.

He just wants the ordeal which has lasted 15 months to end.

The current assessment by authorities could end with him being deported which is ironic given there is nothing Myles Litchmore Dunbar wants more than to leave the country which has cost him so dearly.
