One in five Londoners want the capital to split from UK
By Simon Harris: Political Correspondent
The debate over Scottish independence appears to be fuelling calls for London to breakaway from the rest of Britain.
A new survey shows one in five Londoners think the capital would benefit from devolution or even a complete split.
The opinion poll, carried out by Censuswide, reveals almost half of all 25-34-year-olds back greater autonomy.
The survey was commissioned by the tourist attraction The View from The Shard to try create an impression of London in 2030.
