Prince George enjoys early birthday party in Windsor
The youngest member of the Royal family was treated to an early celebration today when a LEGO Prince George was thrown a first birthday party at the Windsor resort's Miniland.
The get-together was held in the gardens of the miniature recreation of Buckingham Palace, featuring traditional decorations including bunting and balloons, with guests enjoying a miniscule party food spread of jelly and ice cream, and a tiny 3cm tall toy birthday cake.
Royal guests included Prince George himself – newly created to mark his birthday as a toddler made from just 15 individual LEGO bricks – his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and both sets of grandparents – the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, and Michael and Carole Middleton.
Also in attendance were his great-grandparents, Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, as well as his uncle Prince Harry and Aunt Pippa Middleton.
Prince George turns one tomorrow.
