'I thought was going to die' says Thames crash passenger
Passengers on a Thames tourist boat have spoken of their terror after a collision with a barge.
Three people were reported injured and the bow of the Millennium Time was badly damaged. The crash happened between Waterloo Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge.
Passengers described seeing a barge being towed by a tug heading straight towards them. The barge rode up over the bow of the river cruiser, smashing front windows.
One passenger, Savannah Hall, said she thought she was going to die. River police in launches and inflatables raced to the scene.
The passengers were transferred to a sister vessel operated by City Cruises before being taken ashore at Festival Pier
