Greater Anglia apologises over disruptions
Rail operator, Greater Anglia, has apologised to customers after severe disruptions both last night and this morning.
Services between London Liverpool Street and Norwich were disrupted after over head cable issues caused a train to stop, blocking the line near Chelmsford, last night.
An apology was put up at Liverpool Street station and on Abellio Greater Anglia's website. The company also allowed passengers unable to use their tickets yesterday to use them today and offered compensation.
However, commuters were frustrated further when there were even more disruptions this morning due to signalling problem outside Liverpool Street. Many scheduled services were unable to run.
The rail provider has again posted an apology on their website and are allowing passengers who do not travel to use their tickets tomorrow.
Greater Anglia have confirmed all lines have now reopened but cancellations and delays are still ongoing.
