A man has been jailed after drugs with a street value of around £150,000, including two kilograms of heroin, were found during a raid at an address in Croydon.

31-year-old Kwame Gyanfi was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Police raided the house on Waddon Road last August after they received information that drugs were being handled there.

Gyanfi was arrested by police as he arrived at the address - with officers discovering one kilogram of heroin in a black holdall bag he was carrying at the time.

After entering the house, police also discovered another kilogram of heroin, around 250 grams of crack cocaine and nearly 28 kilograms of cutting agents.

Other drugs paraphernalia - including hydraulic press machines - were also found at the property.
