London's top parking ticket hotspots revealed
The London borough which issued drivers with the highest number of parking tickets last year has been revealed.
Of the boroughs that responded to a freedom of information request, Westminster council handed out the highest number of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and generated the most revenue from fines in 2013.
The council issued 455,390 parking fines worth more than £24 million, according to the figures released by Churchill Car Insurance.
The top 13 locations for total PCNs issued last year were all London boroughs.

Steve Barrett, head of Churchill Car Insurance, warned councils not be seen as opportunistic in handing out tickets.
"The capital is extremely congested so we'd expect to see a higher number of restrictions in place and penalties being issued. However, there is a fine line between fair and opportunistic that councils shouldn't be tempted to cross," he added.
