Major disruption set to hit London stations over Easter
Rail passengers have been warned to expect major disruption over the Easter period with some London stations closed due to planned engineering works.
No First Capital Connect or Southern train company trains will call at London Bridge between Good Friday on April 18 and Easter Monday on April 21.
There will be amended services and alternative bus replacements to compensate for the disruption.
Engineering work between Paddington station in London and Ealing Broadway in west London will mean disruption to services run by First Great Western over the same period.
Work between Paddington and Langley in Buckinghamshire will also mean disruption to Heathrow Express services.
Services at Kings Cross will also be affected by engineering work with the route between Kings Cross and Finsbury Park in north London disrupted.
This will mean disruption to services run by the East Coast, First Capital Connect, First Hull Trains and Grand Central train companies.
London Bridge will be open over Easter for services run by the Southeastern train company but Southeastern services in the Kent area will be affected by engineering work taking place between Sole Street/Strood and Gillingham.
