Fraudster at centre of council housing scam is jailed

This was a spectacular fraud with a high degree of planning which stretched over three years. It was run by Ibrahim Bundu, a homelessness case worker at Southwark Council.

He would simply forge documents and medical letters to push his relatives further up the housing queue.

He secured properties for many of his relatives, including his wife, his estranged partner, his mother and other friends and family.
