One union calls off Tube strike, RMT still to decide
The largest Tube union, the RMT, will decide this afternoon whether to call off tonight's 48 hour strike.
One union, the TSSA, has already suspended the walkout after a deal was brokered at the conciliation service ACAS.
The strike is still on for RMT members until the union executive formally accepts the new offer.
London Underground proposed an extended consultation period and a freeze on voluntary redundancy applications.
