A new display at the Imperial War Museum takes visitors behind the scenes at Camp Bastion, the main British military base in Afghanistan. Images and interviews will reveal the stories of those who support troops on the frontline in Afghanistan.

The display features images, on the ground footage and interviews taken by a team of curators on two trips to Afghanistan. This is the first time the Imperial War Museum has been to an active conflict since the First World War.
