After this year's Oscar and MBE, the multi-award winning singer and songwriter Adele has been honoured by Madame Tussauds, as wax figures of the acclaimed performer are revealed in London and Amsterdam.

The figures will portray the singing sensation in a glamorous black dress, mirroring her Grammys 2012 look.

Adele will join a host of female stars on the music stage at the London attraction and its Amsterdam sister venue this month.

Adele gave the figure her wax-seal of approval and declared: "They've even got my chin right." Adele was not present at today's launch but she has already been given a look at the model and said of her double:

Adele will be joining a dream list of female artists - including Beyonce, Rihanna, and Amy Winehouse. Guests will be able to step on stage right next to their heroine.
