Jubilee line travel advice for 2nd April
Transport for London has issued the following advice for passengers needing to use the Jubilee line on 2nd April:
· Services are expected to begin operating slightly later than normal, from 6.30am
· Customers are advised to avoid the line, particularly at key interchanges such as London Bridge, Waterloo and Stratford, and to seek alternative routes wherever possible
· All other lines will be operating as normal. Customers are advised to check the latest situation before they travel
· For Central London from stations north of Wembley Park, please use local bus services or nearby London Overground, Northern, Metropolitan or Bakerloo line connections where possible
· From Wembley area to Central London, please use either the Bakerloo line from north Wembley or Wembley Central or the Metropolitan line from Wembley Park, which will call additionally at Neasden
· From Baker Street to Central London and London Bridge, please use either the Bakerloo, Metropolitan, Circle, or Hammersmith & City services and change as appropriate
· From London Bridge to North Greenwich, please use the DLR from nearby Bank station, then local bus services
· For Stratford, please use London Overground, DLR, Central line, National Rail or local bus services
· LU tickets will be accepted on local bus services. Customers attending events at the O2 Arena should allow more time for their journeys, and consider using the Emirates Air Line to travel between Greenwich Peninsula and Royal Docks to connect to the DLR at Royal Victoria
· LU plans to deploy additional staff to help passengers get around by the alternative routes, and passengers can keep up to date with the latest advice by signing up for email updates
