The exhibition consists of more than 50 works, among them are portraits of Manet’s most frequent sitter, his wife Suzanne Leenhoff, luminaries of the period Antonin Proust, Émile Zola and Stéphane Mallarmé, and scenes from everyday life revealing Manet’s forward-thinking, modern approach to portraiture.

Examples of walks:
London's Hidden Treasures - 2 miles long, 2 hours. Takes you along the South side of the River Thames, visiting some of London's unique venues and hidden treasures, ends at Tower Bridge
The Glorious London Loop - either 9 or 11 miles long, takes up to 7 hours. This is a rural walk along relatively level ground in Surrey. It includes a stop at the Hogsmill Tavern in Borne Hall Park.
Potato Days - London Potato Day and Seedy Sunday
