Martin's weather blog
I went to see Mumford and Sons at the O2 last night and wasstruck by how perfect their music is for the winter. Comforting, festive andpleasingly upbeat.
Looking at the forecast, I could be spending a fair bit oftime holed up indoors re-listening to their album. This afternoon we're goingto see rain move in from the West and once it arrives it won't leave us tillthe early hours of Friday morning. The temperatures are going to be stayingmild with highs of 12 degrees tomorrow but it's going to be feeling grim with astrong south-easterly wind.
If you're driving tomorrow morning, I'd leave a bit of extratime as there will be a lot of surface water around. An amber weather warningis in place tomorrow just to the west of our region but it's going to be wetfor us all.
Friday is looking better but then it's going to be wet andwindy again over the weekend. So if you need to do anything outdoors Friday isthe day.
Stay indoors if you can!
