Boris shouts back at hecklers

The mayor of London, Boris Johnson, was forced to retreat to a cafe when he arrived in Bristol this afternoon.

A small group of protesters heckled and pursued him down the road after he arrived at the M-Shed.

Eventually London Mayor Boris Johnson shouted "Lefty t***ers" at protesters who had been heckling him.

He was responding to activists who screamed "Tory scum" at his entourage.

He was visiting the city to support Conservative candidates for Bristol mayor and Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner in November.
