Boy among trio remanded over murder

Andrew Jaipaul, 21, died after being ambushed by a gang on the Andover Estate

A 15-year-old boy and two men appeared at the Old Bailey today accused of murdering a man stabbed 25 times in a gang attack.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, sat in the well of the court and was remanded in custody for a plea and case management hearing in December.

Earlier, Tommy McInerny, 20, of Upper Holloway and Jojo Mafwa, 18, of Tottenham, both north London, were also remanded in custody to the same date. They appeared by videolink.

All three were also charged with violent disorder during the incident on June 26, last year.
