A British cyclist has described how he found the bodies of the Surrey family who were murdered in the French Alps.

Brett Martin, a former RAF pilot, said he originally thought he'd come across a terrible accident and that he saw a little girl stumbling around and bleeding.

Meanwhile, the French prosecutor investigating the murders has arrived in Britain. He believes the killings "have their origins in this country".

Saad Al Hilli, his wife, his mother-in-law and a French cyclist were all shot dead last Wednesday near Lake Annecy.
