David Weir made it three out of three at the Olympic stadium on Thursday night, adding another gold medal to his collection in the T54 800m contest.

He'd already clinched titles in the 1,500m and 5,000m.

The Weirwolf has now retained both the 800m and 1500m titles he won in Beijing in 2008 and claimed the 1500m crown.

But the 33-year-old wheelchair racer from Sutton hasn't finished yet - he'll be competing in the marathon on Sunday.

He won the wheelchair section of the London Marathon for a sixth time in April this year and will start as favourite for the 26.2-mile event, which both starts and ends in front of Buckingham Palace.
