Natasha Baker won Great Britain's first equestrian gold medal of the 2012 Paralympic Games at Greenwich Park today. The 22-year-old from Uxbridge, who is making her Paralympic debut, triumphed in the Grade II individual championship.

She scored a Paralympic Grade II record of 76.857% on her horse Cabral to claim the title. Natasha is already a double European champion.

However, the strength of the British team means Natasha has not been included in the GB foursome for the team event. But she will have a chance to get another gold in the Grade II freestyle competition on Monday.
