Eddie Izzard becomes associate director at Crystal Palace

Eddie Izzard is to become an associate director of Crystal Palace Football Club- which he's supported since the 1960's.

The club said they were delighted to welcome him on board.

Izzard is n't the only comedian involved in football- his friend Stephen Fry currently has a seat on the boar at Norwich City.
