Body of Londoner found in Indian river
Rescuers in India say they've recovered the body of a West London man who went missing last Saturday. Michael Easton disappeared during a rafting trip in crocodile-infested waters in Bangalore.
Michael Easton went missing after setting off on a canoeing trip in Bangalore with another man a week ago.
The 57 year old, from Holland Park, had been working as an engineer for Shell in India - and when he didn't turn up for work on Monday the authorities were notified.
A special dive team took part in the search of the Cauvery river, which is known to be infested with crocodiles.
Last week they found the body of Ian Turton from York who had been on the trip with Mr Easton. They also found the pair's inflatable dinghy, which bore several bite marks.
