QPR manage to avoid the drop

Thousands of QPR fans are celebrating tonight after their team put in a spectacular performance against Manchester City to avoid relegation.

Although they didn't win - with the end result securing City the title - today's results were enough to keep them safe.

Any celebrations, though, were tainted by midfielder Joey Barton who let his side down with a violent outburst.
