Occupy protesters camp outside Bank of England
Police have been kettling hundreds of protestors in the City of London. The anti-capitalist protesters from the Occupy movement today staged a day of action, marching through the city. And tonight some of them are pitching tents outside the Bank of England.
Earlier, several hundred people gathered outside St Paul's Cathedral for a rally.
It comes more than six months after members of the same campaign group spent four and a half months camped outside the Cathedral.
The demonstration is part of a global day of action seeing thousands of people rallying in cities across the world, including Moscow, New York, Athens and Madrid.
The Cathedral remained open to visitors.
