Hundreds of people, accused of taking part in the riots in London last summer, have yet to be tried.

The Crown Prosecution Service says that it is still dealing with 450 cases, 200 of which are at trial stage. But another 12 cases are handed to the CPS each week.

So far, more than 2,000 people have been prosecuted in London with an 83% conviction rate.
