Chambers allowed to compete at Olympics
Official confirmation will come today that sprinter Dwain Chambers is to have his lifetime ban lifted to allow his selection for Team GB for the London 2012 Olympics.
The British Olympic Association have lost a court case to keep their lifetime ban for drugs cheats, which is due to be confirmed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport this afternoon.
The court is expected to announce that the BOA's bylaw doesn't comply with the World Anti-Doping Agency's global code.
It will open the way to allow UK Athletics to select Chambers for Team GB in July.
Chambers, who is from Finsbury Park, had been subject to the lifetime ban after being banned for doping offences eight years ago.
