Queen meets top scouts in Windsor
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will meet hundreds of high-achieving scouts at Windsor Castle today.
The Queen - a patron of the Scout Association - will present 600 youngsters with the Queen's Scout Award, the highest prize in the scouting movement. To land it, scouts need to fulfil many requirements, including 12 months of community work and a four-day expedition in "open or adventurous" country.
Young people from as far afield as Uganda, Belize and St Lucia will be attending the event.
