It was the game that had it all - four goals, a sending off, a missed penalty and even Fernando Torres scoring. Chelsea clinched their place in the Champions League Final in Munich on the 19th of May, thanks to a stirring fightback at Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium.

The Blues went into the game with a 1-nil lead from the first leg. But that had evaporated before half-time - Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta had scored for the Catalan side, and Chelsea captain John Terry had been sent off for kneeing Alexis Sanchez. Terry is one of four Chelsea players who will be suspended for the final.

But just before the break, Ramires changed the tie, scoring with a chip to give Chelsea an away goal. That gave Chelsea the advantage but then Cesc Fabregas tumbled in their penalty area and the ref awarded Barcelona a penalty.

However, the World Player of the Year Lionel Messi struck the spotkick against the crossbar.

Despite being down to ten men, Chelsea hung on though a Messi shot did hit their post. And right at the end, substitute Fernando Torres sprinted clear to score Chelsea's second goal and give the Blues a 3-2 aggregate win.

Chelsea fans can start planning for the final but that looks even more daunting. The Blues will be without Terry as well as Raul Meireles, Ramires and Branislav Ivanovic who all picked up yellow cards.

And their opponents will either be Bayern Munich, who would be playing the final in their home stadium, or Real Madrid, managed by the former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho. Chelsea will need another special performance if they are to lift the trophy.
