Meredith Kercher's father releases book

The father of Meredith Kercher has relived the agonising moment when he travelled to Italy to identify his daughter's body.

John Kercher, who is from Surrey, travelled to Perugia with his ex-wife Arline and their daughter Stephanie to see the body in the morgue just after her violent murder.

In a new book about the killing Mr Kercher recalls the full horror of discovering how his daughter had died.

It comes six months after Amanda Knox walked free from prison in Italy, aquitted of the crime.
