Snow hits the North West
Drivers are being urged to take care as a yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued for the region.
Merseyrail: first services cancelled for track inspection
Merseyrail have cancelled the first service on all lines this morning.
The operator say it's so that the lines can be checked before passenger services start.

The North West Ambulance Service says ambulances are not able to travel as quickly as usual because of the snow.
