A man glassed in the face in a West Didsbury bar is likely to lose sight in one of his eyes say police.

The 28-year-old victim and the unknown offender bumped into each other at the bar in Hula. It's reported when the victim went to shake the offender’s hand in apology, he was hit in the face with a glass, causing a serious injury to one eye and leaving a five inch cut across his face. The offender then left the bar in an unknown direction.

The attacked happened on the 1st of April but police are today asking for anyone who witnessed the assault or has information that could help the investigation to come forward.

“There were a lot of people in the bar who would have seen exactly what happened and we need them to get in touch with us so we can build a better picture and find those responsible.”
