Alder Hey hospital has confirmed that a judge has ruled terminally ill baby Alfie Evans cannot be taken out of its care. The 23 month old's parents are seeking another legal challenge to a court order allowing the removal of life support from the 23 month old. He has an undiagnosed brain disorder and his family say they are being prevented from taking him out of the hospital to be taken for treatment abroad. In a statement the hospital says the situation is 'heart rending' but that some who took part in a demonstration outside last night had 'impacted very negatively on other patients families and staff'.
