Britney Spears announces Blackpool gig

Pop goddess Britney Spears is bringing her ''Britney: Piece of Me" show to Blackpool this summer.

The international pop icon will appear at Blackpool's Tower Festival Headland on Saturday September 1.

She'll be joined on the tour by Grammy-Award winning, multi-platinum selling artist Pitbull.

The Blackpool date marks the end of Britney's US and European tour which already includes a sold-out date in Manchester.

Tickets for the Blackpool show will go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 13 via www.ticketmaster.co.uk
