The Isle of Man Constabulary have praised efforts from numerous organisations who helped find a high risk missing person.

Yesterday a young woman was reported to the authorities and required the Coastguard, the Search and Rescue Dog Association and Civil Defence to locate her.

Volunteers from the Coastguard found the woman later that afternoon.

Isle of Man Constabulary thanked members across all teams for their assistance.

Thankfully, high risk missing persons where we require multiple organisations to assist us in searches are rare, however when we do call upon them, the services offered in terms of resources and assistance is invaluable. Today was no different and all of the above organisations rapidly responded to our request for assistance, resulting in the person being found quickly. This would not of been possible without the help of our partners.
