Two lanes are currently closed as Highways England carry out emergency repairs.

Lane closures are expected to stay in place for most of the morning.

The lane closures are in place Northbound between junction 20 for Runcorn and junction 21 Warrington.

And there are delays building up to junction 19 for Tabley.

Highways England are warning drivers of possible delays and are advising people to plan ahead.
