WATCH: Parents who lost baby girl say hospital staff thought they were 'time wasters'
A couple who lost their baby girl days after she was born, say they were turned away by hospital staff who thought they were "time wasters".
Joanne and James Farrar say medics at Stockport's Stepping Hill Hospital ignored their cries for help.
In a statement, Stepping Hill Hospital said:
"We failed to provide a reasonable standard of antenatal care for Joanne and baby Ava and for that we are deeply sorry.
"We launched an immediate investigation afterwards, to ensure that something like this does not happen again."
The couple are speaking out to try to ensure this doesn't happen to other patients.
